    Daniel, I agree. Much like emotions, which are automatically generated as a response to events that occur to us, some thoughts are like that to. I once read somewhere that our thoughts can be classified into the automatically generated & the conscious focus. Thoughts come & go, but we can consciously focus on specific ideas. Don’t fight the automatically generated thoughts & feelings, let them come & let them be. They usually stop bothering me after getting good sleep.
