    Hey Daniel!

    Thank you for your great blog! It has given me a lot of comfort. I was also diagnosed OCPD a while ago and first I was so glad that there was an explanation for my behavior and way of thinking. However, soon I started to feel very miserable because of the diagnosis since I thought something was _so_ wrong with me. I’ve always been such a sensitive person and I may start to silently cry in an art exhibition, for example, if I see a work of art that truly touches my heart(even though I would do my best to hide it).

    I decided to begin a psychotherapy because I realized that this OCPD holds me back in so many ways. I really want to live fully and freely. What has helped me a lot, is meditating every single day and listening truly to my heart and intuition. Learning to love yourself exactly as you are and believing you deserve unconditional love and safety; I think these are the essential things to learn.:–)
